His overall winning percentage was 71% so he did a little worse against the rockets compared to the average team.

I remember a quiet, young, minding his own business and not even really trying, Tim Duncan - SHREDDING Barkley. SHREDDING.

He was pretty good, almost as good as Hakeem.

I liked how he was always dependable, played defense and never b****ed and whined like some other all stars.

he was similar to Hakeem, actually even quieter

Always played hard and accepted his role for the good of the team as he got older

Weird fact: Duncan never once played against us in the playoffs. Not once.

I think Houston is the only Western Conference team who never played Duncan in the Playoffs. (Yes, Minnesota and Garnett played him, twice.)

Arguably better, but very close. Definitely two guys with some of the best all-round game you will ever see.

    brother,
that means we sucked for a long time
especially that period when we couldn't get past the first round for many years

Minny has missed something like the last 10 playoffs, and only once got past the 1st round in Duncan's era. Remember Garnett was being criticized for that.

We never really had a worthwhile PF matchup, too. I think the funnest matchup for me would have been Hayes vs Duncan. Most would say Scola, but I could see Duncan just standing there saying..."tell me when you're done with all that spinning around"

It's really a shame we never faced him during the Harden era or Olajuwon era.

Or Yao/McGrady ... but we did have the 13 in 33 with the crucial 4pt play called on Duncan.

I'd rather have the additional championship banners than a Steph Curry moment
