You are absolutely right. Teams don't win playoff series BECAUSE they have home court advantage, they win because they are the better team. It's just that the better team usually won more games in the regular season and got seeded higher.

JVG is right on that the focus of the team for the rest of the regular season needs to be getting better and getting sharp for the playoffs. I've heard that Vegas odds-makers usually give about a 3 point advantage to a home team. Home court "advantage" only even means anything if the series goes 5 or 7 games and even then, we're talking about a 3 point adavantage over the whole series. It's not much.

When the playoffs start, everyone is 0-0.

By the way... who WAS that team that won it all without home court?

By the way for the record...BOLD CAPS does not look like that....BOLD CAPS is what it looks like.

So, don't worry, it wasn't about you, it was about HP who stalks and then pokes with an out of context post, which then riles up all the Haters who come in and post silly pictures, not realizing that the context of the post was completely off base.

Everyone has their reasons for contributing or not, HP has his...maybe he will explain it one day, maybe it is all about a light blue hat....
