"You get soap and deodorant at your request. "

    What are we, shawshank Prison?

His response on wide receivers..I'll take the word of JJ and Pro analysts than Bed Pole GMs...

"Q: Who is the toughest receiver that you have covered in the NFL?

That’s easy. Andre Johnson at practice. He’s 6-foot-3, 225 pounds, quick and as explosive as someone who is 185 pounds. Next is the Panthers’ Steve Smith, totally opposite at 5-foot-9, 200. He is surprisingly explosive and can jump with the tallest defenders. Steve had 80 yards against me last year, the most I’ve gave up to one receiver. Detroit’s Calvin Johnson is a freak of nature. He’s 6-foot-5 and has all the skills."

Good job by Joseph mentioning MegaGod in favorable light. Don't want to give him any ammunition when they meet.

I wouldn't say it's a sure thing Calvin Johnson goes off on JJ. Nnamdi would routinely shut down Andre; a prime AJ averaged something like 40 yards a game against the Raiders in 3-4 meetings. Joseph - Johnson should be a great matchup.

treating players like human beings instead of "assets" goes a long way.

    Makes me think of MoneyBall:

Miguel Tejada: [Justice tries to get a soda out of a soda machine, nothing comes out] That costs a dollar, man.
    David Justice: What?
Miguel Tejada: Welcome to Oakland, D.J.

You make millions of dollars a year and you can't afford soap and Gatorade?

I guess it might be expected, but to normal people it comes off kind of whiny.

I just see soap and Gatorade as the sports equivalent of free coffee and snacks. Honestly, if an owner who already makes millions off the team, decides to cheapen out on freakin' soap, would make me whether the team is really about winning.
