Advanced stats certainly favor CP3 not only as the best PG, but among the top 10 any position ever. But that's just one part of it. He never had the team success because he obviously didn't get to play through his prime with other top 20 teammates and other all-star teammates, but it's why he gets ranked below Magic, IT, and even Curry now. I think it's fair to argue CP3 as #2 all time, but missing so many games also can place him behind a Stockton, or Kidd. He's kind of like the David Robinson of point guards. Stats love him, team accomplishments and playoff blunders hold him back which is really unfair, but that's life of ranking individual players in a team sport where most of the best ranked players have all played with other all time greats most of their career.
