Even if he played the same minutes they are not as hard and rough as they were last year It's not that harden takes plays off but he can if he likes he can sit on the elbow and watch and catch his wind if need be Rocket River
I'm checking Paul's stat line. 10.8 assists to only 2.2 turnovers is incredible. Oh wait, that's actually his steals. He's only averaging 1.2 turnovers. Sweet mother of god. In the Knicks game Paul's lone turnover was a pass to Capela that was right on the money for a dunk, but Clint thought it was a shot and was looking for the offensive rebound instead. That one mistake is what's keeping Paul from having an 11:1 ast/to ratio. Dang it, Clint.
It's good that we can ease Paul into the season. He has played big minutes his entire career, and he worked hard on getting in shape in the offseason. It's good that they were super cautious with the injury and keeping his minutes under 30. Need him to be fresh come playoff time. These two are meshing really well so far. I still think Paul can score more aggressively and it would benefit the team greatly.

That is insane how good they are together and separate. I knew all Harden needed was a true superstar next to him. Ppl ragging on him cause he can't take his team past the second round comparing him to Lebron curry Kawi ext. when those guys all play with other allstar stacked teams. Now harden has his superstar help and we're in 1st place with a historic offense an improving top 7 defense and 10 point differential. I guarantee harden doesn't have any issues in the playoffs this year. Same with cp3 he'll finnaly get out the second round and has a real shot at a championship, something he's never been remotely close to getting.
I remember in the Nuggets game, Paul's only turnover was a Reggie Miller type of 3P shooting offensive foul, which is definitely a sympathy call to make Nuggets look less embarrassed because we were leading by like 40 points. If you take that out as well, his assist turnover ratio will be 13: 1.
The naysayers in the off-season, there were so, so many of them. The absolute lack of secondary playmaking has been the biggest weakness of the Harden-era rockets teams by far. Harden communicated it years ago. Losing Parsons really made this weakness glaring. Harden knew it. Morey knew it. We all knew it. So we bring Lawson over in an attempt to address the problem. Sadly, Lawson forgot how to play basketball. If he was even 80% of the player he was the previous season we would've seen our offense absolutely explode. We add arguably the best pure point guard of all time and somehow people think it's a mistake? I just don't understand how so many people make money being sports analysts while also being so blind. They don't watch enough of our games to truly understand the team's needs. Paul is flourishing. Harden is somehow playing even better than he was last season. D'Antoni is probably still in disbelief that he has two hall of fame playmakers running his offense at all times. And me, I am very aroused right now, and will continue to be.
