Am I the only one that's not really sure what the OP is referring to? Do you mean when he tripped over Aminu in the backcourt and looked like he was wincing on the floor for a bit? In any case, I think we definitely don't want to sit him for the rest of the season, but maybe the next two weeks or so if anything's wrong... But we needa make sure he's acclimated before the playoffs start. ... Although on the other hand, I suppose it took him no time at all to get acclimated when he came back in November, heh.
I disagree... while I want us to be cautious with CP3 these games are huge for us! not just to get the number 1 seed but for the guys to continue to grow together and figure out how they are going to play together in crunch time. We need them to be firing on all cylinders come playoff time if we are going to win the title. We can’t be scared of injuries... it’s a part of the game and it can happen at any time. We gotta worry about getting better.
Yea he has bailed us out many times but do u trust him not to commit a bone chilling turnover? Remember the toronto game? Even tonight his handles were auwful almost cost us the game.
Could of just cramped up a bit, maybe a slight tweak. No one seems overly concerned, so I'm not either.
Yeah that may be right too but i mean, when you see a player like Chris Paul never attack slow centers after a switch to take advantage of that, it's really really odd...and it's something going on from few games at this point, but again, it's understandable if he's trying to avoid contact, of course i don't disagree with this, just saying.
CP3 is definately a HOF locked in no matter what, he know his body so well and know how Rockets training staffs are always keeping him healthy! Love this chemistry and squad. SwegChamp!
Cp3 is all fine and dandy and he’s said so himself. But it’s clear mike knew and asked about it, seeming like a lingering issue. Also, cp3 referee to winning and adrenaline as to why he is fine. All true and I believe hat. But... The next 8 of 9 are at home and against inferior competition. If it’s any kind of lingering issue or even something extremely minuscule, go ahead and start taking some game so off.
The upcoming homestand offers some opportunities to rest players. Don't sit too many guys as Detroit and New Orleans are still trying to win and even a crappy team like Atlanta was able to win in Utah tonight. But the Bulls and Suns should be beatable without CP3. My strategery would be rest CP3 against Detroit, play him against New Orleans, then rest him against Atlanta(which is a B2B), Chicago, and Phoenix. Knowing my luck, a bunch of guys will sit out that Phoenix game since I just bought tickets for it.
A complete medical exam is necessary for him. Any re-injury could be devastating. Rest CP now, until he is completely healthy.
