    Mmm . . . chocolate: Smithsonian Associates sponsor an all-day Chocolate Lovers Seminar at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Northwest Washington. The event, which runs from 9 to 4:30, is jam-packed with lectures on various aspects of the chocolate experience. But best of all, there's chocolate for breakfast, chocolate at lunch and a chocolate reception at the end of the day. Yummy. Admission to the seminar is $140; $95 for Smithsonian Resident members.
