The site is un browsable on iPhone https://eglobalcentralreviews.site/...ommunications LLC&trackid=201905130224192212# Is the redirect
I’ve gotten it in the GARM at the time of my post. Dear apple user, dear Comcast user. Message changes based on whether I’m on wi-fi or LTE. iPhone btw.
I don't have an IPhone but my daughter does. When I tested it on Safari, I was getting the redirect almost every time. I ran tests and found one specific ad network that appeared to be the issue. After I removed that, the redirects went away. I reached out them and they responded. I've restored it and it seems fine now. I'm surprised that some have still gotten redirected on IPhone after that though. If you were getting redirected on IPhone even yesterday, were you using Safari or Chrome? There appears to be a Chrome-IPhone issue. https://www.phonearena.com/news/Exp...r-iOS-allows-malicious-ads-to-attack_id115380 https://blog.confiant.com/massive-e...ulnerability-to-target-ios-users-a534b95a037f That wasn't our original issue, but if you were still getting it, I want to pass that along in case people are using Chrome on IPhone.
Yo @Clutch, what's up with the popup banner-style ad I get at the bottom of about every 3rd page I navigate to...looks like a blue sky rectangle with 5 cloud things on it and nothing else. Just started happening a few days ago. edit: Just got one for Whole Foods, and I think I made the adbot mad, 'cause they're now popping up on just about every page. eta2: Last one was for razors and said "AdChoice" in the upper right corner.
Sorry man, but what the **** is up with this? Every. Single. Page. Am I supposed to see these popups? I don't know, but I've got nothing.
I get kicked off this site almost every time I post, but you can’t keep a good man down Thank God I only give points and not full discussion posts
Yep. iPhone/iPad redirects are a beating lately. Damn near constant. Sometimes you can read this site if you stop the page load about half way, but that's annoying to do and doesn't work all the time.
And site owners and admins are wondering why ad blockers are becoming more and more popular. Hilarious that there is a pop up asking to turn it off when you visit this site, yet these God damn redirects hijack your browser and sends you to who knows what kind of mal/spyware.related website with the intention of installing spam bloat apps . Its absolutely infuriating. Use DuckDuckGo Browser, ADBlock browser, Firefox Focus or if you're on Android, download regular Firefox and install the "Ublock Origin" add on from their website to the browser and never see this non-sense again. Ad's are necessary, I get it. I can move past them without much of a blink and it doesn't bother me. When it starts to hijack browsers and redirect to spam that wants to be installed on my device that's where I draw the line.
I've had these issues every day this week. It happened about 50 times in the Astros trade thread on trade day, made it almost impossible to even read the thread. Galaxy using Chrome. I honestly rarely visit much any longer due to the hijacks. It's a shame.
