I'll never understand why teams don't just let the offense score so you at least have a chance to win.

 

I was watching that too.

I love college football.

I just wish it had a playoff system.

I'd like to see the Tigers beat the Tide. I just switched it over to this game.

If you just surrender a touchdown, then you automatically have to have a touchdown. If you hold the team four downs, then they have to kick a field goal, making it easier for you to win. Plus, there's always the chance they miss.

I can see the beating Tech, but will that be enough for them to vault Bama and Texas?

 

If Florida wins out, Bama will be out since they'll play each other. OU won't be able to jump Texas (well, they might temporarily for a week, but it won't stick) unless Texas loses a game, which seems doubtful.

i coach high school football here in houston and one of my players was committed to michigan until he realized how much they suck balls. so he switched his commitment to penn state because he felt they were gonna win the title this year......then they lost to iowa a couple hours after i talked to him. i thought this was funny.

 

As a mostly disinterested party, I was kinda rooting for Penn State, and especially Joe Paterno. Oh well, going to the Rose Bowl is still really cool.

 

I hope we have a bunch of one loss teams. Anything to make the BCS look stupider is great!
