The old trade thread is deeply buried and i though it could be a good idea to have a fresh one when we start a new season. How to post trades. When you get to an agreement with another team, one team post the trade and the other confirm. Trading of picks. A trade can include picks. We are now starting the 2nd season, and all picks done this year (regular draft/rookie draft/supplement draft/expansion draft) is know as 2nd season draft picks, but could be stated as just a 2nd rounder, 1st rounder rookie draft etc. But if a trade includes picks for later seasons you will have to refer to them as 3rd year - 4th year - 5th year. You can trade picks for the upcoming 3 seasons as well as players and picks for this season. When can you start finalizing trades? I'm not an executive in this sim league - so you will have to wait for Cat to open the trading for the 2nd season and make this thread official. If Cat wants to keep all trades in the old thread then thats where they go. So for now just do trade talks in other threads. WOW, the Grizz are going to be stacked with Iverson, KG, and Rahim. The sixers got a good deal too though. Picking up a bunch of draft picks and two good players in Bibby and Swift. But I think the Grizz are going to be a team to watch out for, KG with Brandon kept my team at around the 6th or 7th seed all season. This is truly a momentous day in Sim league history, never before has a champion trade away his talent just one day after winning the title. They don't even get to enjoy the parade. I'd also like to note it only took me one whole season to get rid of 2 of the most hated men in Houston sports history. Heath and Nomar's trade is now canceled due to confusion over the rookie draft pick rule... if we are not finished with the next season by mid to late June, we will be close and we will go by draft order as of then.
