puedlfor, i figured that..no biggie..i understand completely ..it was just a blue moon shot i threw out there..im not upset with mihm(centers beyond zo,shaq, drob, mutumbo, theo are the same anyway), just scoping the waters..whatll ill end up doing most likely is drafting one in the rookie draft..heath im strapped for picks as is with only my common 1st(and at this point im not ready to deal that pick..because the west is very tough to call..i could finish anywhere from 1st to 10th with my talent, who knows..there isnt a big discrepancy and my rookie one(a pick im not keen on dealing with the talent coming out)ive got a very deep, young talented squad here but im always looking to improve

    Anyone want Kukoc or Coleman?

I've got draft picks to throw in depending on the type of player you're offering back.

I want a shooting guard, doesn't even have to be a starting SG, all I ask is for him to be fairly young.

I will say that Kukoc is a very solid player on this sim, it's not just VOR talk. Not many SF's average 15, 5, and 5.

Coleman also isn't that bad, he's just had the misfortune of being stuck behind Malone, and then McDyess...

I'm not desperate for a shooting guard like Nomar is for a point guard, so I'm not going to do any stupid deals...

    hehe

Im not desperate for a Pg. I would prefer to start Answer at the SG thats all.
    Answer does fine at PG.

Im also 6-2, so desperate doesnt really fit my team, okay?

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

BGM, what would you give me for Hughes? He's 22(I think), and averaged 17points, 4.4 rebounds in 34 minutes of play in the first 5 games.

lol BGM, why don't you make ME an offer.

btw I'm not desperate to give him up either [IMG]

Castor, naw, I don't want to give up Van Horn unless it's for a franchise type player, esp a big man. Interesting offer though.

I see neither one of us wants to make the first move...

    What are your needs Crisco?

You can answer that, can't you?

My team is so stacked that I have no needs... [IMG]

but oh, you know, young phenoms, talented backup PFs, draft picks might be okay.

    Mcdyess would be nice. [IMG]

and Coleman never met a shot he didn't like? [IMG]

what kind of draft pick? I'll have to check your response later, as I have to go. Now weigh what you think is a fair offer and consider Hughes is young, has potential and already kicks ass!

Coleman + Jazz 2nd rounder for Hughes

If you don't think it's fair, I suggest you make up your own offer.

Coleman and a secound rounder? naw. Coleman might be a good backup pf, and I might end up with a decent scrub with that 2nd rounder, but Hughes is a young guy that can start for anyone, including me. I would want someone that can start in return, if not now, then someday.

    how about:

    Miles/rash + Coleman/2nd rounder for Hughes + turkeyglue

    or

Coleman + vaughn + your 1st rounder for Hughes + my 2nd rounder

keep in mind that there weren't that many starting quality sgs in the draft last year, and I expect even less this year.

    SirCharlesFan,

which pick? The 1st round common you have from the Raptors? If you need a SF I would be willing to throw in Kendall Gill with Hughes for Richardson + your Raptors 1st rounder.

    Crisco,
Does that mean you're no longer interested in a deal with me?

BGM, I'm still interested, I just want to see what kind of a deal I can get from Sir.

I have no real fear of driving people away because I really wouldn't mind keeping Hughes [IMG]
