Clint is nowhere near as talented, but he sacrifices for his teammates and is therefore a better player.

His ability to switch is also huge, and I really do think his free throw is going to rise dramatically.

Dwight slows the game down and clogs the paint. He's become a net negative player in today's nba. Atlanta offense looks horrible now that Dwight is in Al Horford's place.

Dwight sets really bad screens. That was a big pet peeve of mine. The bigs we have now, even Anderson, at least look like they want to set screens. Dwight never looked like he wanted screen setting to be on his resume.

Really, the hawks need to show Dwight how ineffective his style of play is and just feed him in the post all game long. Then maybe he'll get it through his thick skull that he needs to be a super deandre Jordan and not an imitation Olajuwon. He doesn't get it.

Going to leave this here. And this was written before the last 2 losses put them at 10-10 after a 9-2 start. High point:

"Dwight is leading the league in offensive rebounding rate and creating a ton of extra possessions for the Hawks in the process...And yet the Hawks have actually been outscored with Howard on the floor, and both their offense and defense have been around five points per 100 possessions better when he’s sat."

Not a team player. If he's not getting his then he doesn't try.

Howard is not a team player. He reminds me of a streetballer. He can put up numbers, but he disrupts more than he helps; NBA is a universe different in that teamball will obliderate ball hogs. I was a big supporter of his, he's seems like a cool guy, but he just doesn't get it!

Capela doesn't put up the numbers Dwight can, but he is a true team guy, and geesh, what a difference! Capela works great for this team!

What do all the Dwight apologists have to say now?

I seem to recall plenty of people making out Harden to be the bad guy.

We could have done so much more with the Dwight and Harden combo if Dwight would have just played the role we know he could dominate in.

Glad we have someone capable and willing now.

In all fairness it was hard to say what the hell was going on. I was sitting in the sauna at the gym listening to Bart Ennis or fart penis as I like to call him talking about how harden is the problem and Dwight is such a hard worker. But in all fairness he is probably a moron and this was 2 days after Dwight put up like 38 against the clipps in a loss. Wonder what ole fart penis would say now though

    interesting comments from nba reddit

"The Millsap + Howard pairing just doesn't work on offense at all. With just one of them, their offense is very good -- 108-109 ORtg. With both, it's in historically bad territory -- 98 ORtg."

"I made a post on this not to long ago and was downvoted for it. Howard and Millsap simply do not match because statistically Howard last season was near the top in post touches, but near the bottom in terms of post scoring efficiency. On the other hand, Millsap is the literally opposite, being one of the top in terms of post scoring efficiency but one of the lowest for post touches.

Howard left Houston because he felt (incorrectly) that he didn't get enough touches in the post, so I assume the Hawks promised Howard more involvement on offense. Looking at the stats so far, Dwight is currently top 10 in possessions in the post, but has a points per possession (PPP) of only 0.77. Millsap is currently top 20 at 0.96 PPP, but his total possessions in the post and frequency of post ups are both lower than Howard's.

The simplest way for the Hawks to improve is to stop going to Dwight Howard in the post. A 0.77 PPP is awful for someone that is top 10 in post touches."

"0.77 PPP is like shooting 25.6% from three... Imagine a shooter like that asking for more shots."

Lol at the last sentence of the post above. Basically says Dwight asking for post touches is the equivalent of Corey Brewer demanding more 3 point shot attempts.

Dwight Howard is Brewer of Centers :)
Perhaps the only difference is Dwight poor performance is somewhat caused by bad officiating he is exposed to.

Noel on this team could own 3 of 4. Capela needs to do better on put backs.

The only thing Noel would own on this team is the large, dark nipple people.

But is Capela still a champion no matter what people think? Is Capela good at grabbing ballz? Does Capela fart in public and make fart jokes? Can Capela have 12 kids with 8 different baby mommas?
