Storylines galore: Kyrie and Kd getting swept, the apparent thuggery that has been going on with teams ah la, 80s and 90s basketball, the Minnesota protesters, in addition to one of the greatest nba plays in the history of the game to win it: smart, tatum and brown, which is up there with any play you will ever seen to end a game. They will take about that play for some time.

Then you have three upstart teams given the top seeds a run for their money: Minnesota, New Orleans and Toronto.

All we need is a few 7 game series and this will be a first round for the ages. Not to mention the fact that the refs have made themselves a part of the game and the fact that many teams are playing a brand of defense that we haven't seen in some time.

This is a bloodbath out here, y'all. Keep the women and children inside.

It might very well be who can stay healthy the longest will win it all. Booker, Embiid, CP3, Middleton, etc. their injuries have significant impact on their respective teams' championship chances but, alas, that's the postseason.

NBA playoffs are inspired by the NFL playoffs

fun fact: the Minnesota protestors have seen more time on the court during an actual basketball game, than Ben Simmons has for an entire season.

    Nah.

They need to shorten the first round back to a best-of-5.

I agree that it's been great and also agree it should be a best of 5 format

I'm not sure "elephant in the room" means what you think it means.

What do you think I think it means?

Lol, I just said it that way because it is a cool way to describe something that is staring right at us, rather than something that was controversial and is trying to be avoided by people.

If something is starring at us, it is an elephant in a room to me.
But Im fine with it being an incorrect usage, lol.
