I genuinely thought that Harden takes mostly step back threes and given that his overall 3 pt fg% is 33%, his step back threes would be heavily weighted to contribute to his overall 3 pt percentage. Also NBA.com says his contested threes which come at 8 attempts per game is at 30%. Do you think there is a discrepancy here? https://stats.nba.com/players/shots-closest-defender/ Maybe it's a subjective call for what consistutes a step back for whoever is the data inputer? I just don't see Harden is taking enough non step back threes for his overall 3 pt fg% to be this low from me watching every minute of Harden this playoffs.
