FVV - 2 year deal with team option in year 3 Brooks - declining value meaning by year 3 and 4 it's probably like a 15m or so annual value. Very movable Landale - only 1st year is guaranteed I see the vision. They want FVV and Brooks to help the young guys grow and then by year 3 neither of them will have any significant impact on our cap room.
Any contract is movable when you tie enough FRPs. Saw Tillboy give up two while contending to get rid of Ryno and Clint Capela, then give up 4 to move CP3. I'm 100% sure that Brooks contract will be moved, the question is how many FRPs will be used to do so?
Brooks is the most untradeable contract in the league. He's a terrible league minimum quality player locked in for 4 years at 20 mil a year. There's no way to spin that.
Brooks contract is probably like this. 30m 25m 15m 10m There is no chance the rockets can't move Brooks in year 3 or 4 when he's making 15 or 10m a year. No picks need to be included. Heck he's even a buyout candidate at that point if he's really bad.

That's all that truly matters. Sucks to see KJ and Tyty go, but they weren't going to get minutes. Now the focus is to get more wins and attract actual stars in a couple years.
Brooks's contract is 100% that bad if it's completely guaranteed FVV is fine at 2 years, Landale is fine at 1 year guaranteed, Mills is fine. People are shocked by KJ, JC, Ty, Uz returning us 0 value, I'm not. Would a better GM like Morey have squeezed some net 2nds? Sure but I'm not getting jimmies rustled over 2nds. Dillon Brooks is the problem, there's a legitimate argument that he isn't worth half of what he got, at half the years he got.
im not worried. I actually think the squad is good. Sad to see the children go, but rockets had so many young players it was going to happen. Rocket still have like 6-7 core young players. dont cry over the late 1st round players we lost. Tate still being here is crazy but I actually think he can thrive in a system run by Ime.
If you're a fan of Green, Alpi, Jabari, Tari, Amen and KPJ(most of the times) this is the best out come. It's just that $80 for Brooks? Oh well. Time for Summer League. Let's win that thing!

Are you sure about the FVV 3rd year? Landale contract is ok but we still do not have a interior defender…shot blocker I’m ok with Brooks but he was worth on 15-17 million giving up KM…a starter for 2 2nd rounders….bad trade
