Building a two-story garage apartment from the ground up

    Anyone ever done it and have recommendations for a good GC?

    Was thinking a 1- or 2-car garage on the lower level and a 1-bedroom ~400 sqft apartment on the upper level.

    As far as a GC goes, you need to make that decision yourself

    I have built everything myself, and since I have less time than before, I make all the plans and supervise the work.
