Those of you who are mocking the grey court need to learn some history, the grey court is a symbol of resistance to Soviet Occupation of Manchuria in 1945 that is very important to the Chinese people - Joseph Tsai
Totally disagree that the grey court looks good on TV. It looks like a court that needs a good scrubbing. They took an elegant, warm, clean, regal, majestic, herringbone court and put a dirty/grey wash on it. Just looks dirty. Someone get a mop.
I agree that it doesn’t look good...the previous version was far better...they didn’t need to change anything, it was already 1 of the best in the league the lighting in the arena keeps this gray court from looking as hideous as it could be...if they had TC style lighting that gray court would look atrocious
I liked it a lot. Much more than I thought I would. Also agree that if you are going to do it, make the stadium name grayscale, too.
Agreed. I switched over when the Astros were collapsing, having forgot they were changing to this...it made me uncomfortable. Maybe I'll warm to it, but then again, I'd have to regularly watch Nets games for that to happen.
It was horrible in tv. I had a feeling I had time travelled to the 40s and was watching a back and white game.
