I'm glad the tariffs on Mexico never will take effect. This is a win for Trump and more importantly for the people. I still don't agree with them being used in this manner but I can't argue with results. Time will tell I suppose...

What exactly has Trump “won”? There was no way in hell he would let tarriffs hit Texas or Michigan or Kentucky. It would be political suicide.
Trump wins in epic fashion on his effort to get Mexico to help improve immigration enforcement. Losers include all those who opposed him on this, including of course the Democrat left and their sycophantic supporters in the media. But perhaps the biggest losers are Senate Republicans who publicly opposed President Trump on this. This last group is looking especially pathetic right now. And no actual Tariffs were ever imposed. The threat was enough, because the leaders of Mexico are reasonable people who care about their citizens and the very negative effect that these tariffs would have had on them and their country. If only President Xi in China cared about his people as much.

So true! Trump thinks he invented the idea of threatening people. It is indeed great news that The Wall is no longer necessary! Trump saved BILLIONS in pork barrel spending on this one.
The Reality show presidency continues. The truth is the media should have never covered his tariff threat as if it was anything more than for show. His shtick should be ignored by now: -Walk into a room where everyone is working together just fine. Drop a bomb that makes everyone fight. Walk away in a hissy fit. Let everyone in the room figure out a solution to get everyone talking productive again. Walk back in and claim to be a genius deal maker. Trump is a narcissistic con artist. That’s all this is. The funny thing is, half of the time his shtick doesn’t even work (see China tariffs where they didn’t play along).
At least Trump made the stock market take a big dive the other day. You can make money shorting stocks
Applaud their efforts? Much if not all of which they have been doing already. But, but trump said they haven't been doing anything. Was trump telling the truth then, or now? Well, in event, crisis solved. We can stop diverting money from our military to pay for that unpopular vanity wall. It is a great day... kudos to trump!
