Brian Flores sues NFL for racism, got text messages as proof

Two thoughts:

1) Gonna be interesting to see if he gets blackballed by the NFL for this

2) So Belichick texted Flores (mistakenly thinking it was Daboll) and congratulated him for getting the HC job with NYG while Flores was still scheduled to be interviewed? LOL. Y-i-k-e-s.

 

Why are we surprised? Did u not see the way we handle our GM hiring process? Other franchises probably does similar ****ery He's gonna get his settlement.

 

Then he’ll be blackballed shortly thereafter. He’s done in the NFL & maybe college football too.

 

Jerry Jones comes to mind.

 

Yeah his NFL career is over, regardless if he wins. He'll still get a gig at a lower tier college tho.

 

Well, i applaud folks that is fighting for the rights of others.
Minorities often get shafted by Caucasians.

If Flores manages to make the hiring situation better for minorities in the long run and gets a hefty settlement, kudos to him.

 

Some things are bigger than you are.

 

I hope Culley joins the lawsuit for the drama and airing of dirty laundry.

 

I agree, but this is a hella risky move.

 

Flores was already getting his name smeared by the dolphins. We had folks on here wary of hiring Flores bc of the slander they heard from the dolphin camp.

Flores being another BoB, etc.

 

NFL is full of Grudens, McNairs, Dan Snyders, Jerry Richardsons…

Many eat up the fake ****. (The “end racism” on helmets & in the end zones; the “let’s book black artists for the Super Bowl”; the pink for women/BCA; throw a few dollars at minority charities/causes)

LOL They could give 2 *****.

So yeah, they’ll tell him to shut up, maybe offer a payment or settlement of some type.
“This is risky for him.” … “He’ll be blackballed.” … Probably will. Says more about the NFL than it does him.
Nothing will change. And back to business as usual for the NFL, Goodell and the owners.

NFL takes all your wife/GF beaters, child abusers, animal abusers, sexual assaulters, drunk drivers, druggies, criminals but sure, tell me this minority can’t get a HC job because of something 25 years ago.

 

My takeaway from this was. At least we aren't the joke of the league right now. Dolphins in a shtstorm if Flores can prove the allegations and is willing to go the distance

 

Other teams could be involved if more people join the lawsuit. I hope that other black coaches like Culley join him to push for the change that's needed.

If you're a football fan you should want these teams to be held accountable for racial discrimination because racism/cronyism is probably a big reason your team sucks. The best people are not being hired for coaching and front office positions.

 

IMO he should have waited…not sure if he’s in the mix for the open jobs. By releasing Belichick’s text messages, I think it’s safe to say no one will hire him. Career ending move.

 

The other big story is Stephen Ross trying to pay Brian Flores to lose on purpose and then trying to bully him into signing off on a certain unnamed QB. And then when Flores refused to do either, the Dolphins started leaking negative stories about Flores and basically railroaded his career in retaliation.

Oh and while Stephen Ross tried to pay Flores to lose on purpose, he was simultaneously investing in sports gambling companies. He was literally trying to get his coach to rig games as he funded gambling. Pete Rose still can't get into the hall of fame in baseball but owners in the NFL can now do this kind of stuff with impunity.
