are we forgetting that we don't have a punter and kick holder now? Hartmann was doing a fantastic job as punter. watching the replay though, i'm kept wondering "why the hell is he zigzagging?"

Do not question the Hitman. He zigzags because it pleases him.

But yea, arguably the 2nd best rookie on the team, and a huge blow to our ST. Really sucks.

I was pretty frustrated with all the coverage and barely any mention.

Uhm, the punter is kinda important. Lest we forget that field position helps things and bad field position really, really hurts, 2010 says "Hi".

    :(

Please, please no Matt Turk. Apparently he'll be one of the punters that we try out this week. I know they're familiar with him, but he's garbage.

yes, but he's comfortable garbage. like that pair of tennis shoes with the holes in the side and the loose, floppy sole.

Does it really matter how familiar a punter is with the system? Isn't it basically just "catch ball, kick ball"?

And I guess "run down field and level returner" in the case of our kickers.

Not for punting, but it can make a difference in being a holder and Turk is used to holding for Rackers, right?

Great point... I'd say it's worth getting Turk back solely for this purpose. We could very easily need a game winning kick on Sunday.

Saw Hartmann at Liftime Fitness during the bye week. I suspect he'll show up there again soon...

Hartmann was very good for us this year, most times kickoffs were punts, as well as punts. Turk is good for maybe 30 yards on good punt.

Sometimes when my kicks start being punts I get worried about the Texans.

Meant to say Hartmann was good at kicking touchbacks on punts and kickoffs.

Man that sucks for you. You should always, ALWAYS, be concentrating on the kicker in any special teams play.
