The level of mental gymnastics it takes to continuously deflect any responsibility away from Trump has to be exhausting.

these are the same fools who didnt care that trump makes all his crappy products overseas while he endlessly b****ed about other companies who make all their products overseas.

his supporters dont care about any of this...they are all hypocrites and cult members.

they are also suckers as evidenced by the fact that they dont care that he went back on his main campaign promise that mexico was going to pay for his wall.

So... trump is so desperate, he is citing a Gallup poll as reason for building his wall?

What If There Were 42 Million at the Border?

    He ignores this Gallup poll:

Lol CEO level people hire others to manage their properties and require them to make hiring decisions you genius. If that is mental gymnastics, then I guess you must be doing said gymnastics at a special olympics level.

Probably worth its own thread. The Gallup organization estimates there are 42 million people in Latin America who want to migrate to the United States. "A full 5 million who are planning to move in the next 12 months say they are moving to the U.S."

What If There Were 42 Million at the Border?

Here's a good question about caravans: How many more are coming?

Gallup asked the whole population of Latin America. There are 33 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Roughly 450 million adults live in the region. Gallup asked them, "Would you like to move to another country permanently if you could?"

    A whopping 27% said "yes."

So this means roughly 120 million would like to migrate somewhere.

The next question Gallup asked was, "Where would you like to move?"

Of those who want to leave their Latin American country permanently, 35% said they want to go to the United States.

The Gallup analytics estimate is that 42 million want to come to the U.S.

Forty-two million seekers of citizenship or asylum are watching to determine exactly when and how is the best time to make the move. This suggests that open borders could potentially attract 42 million Latin Americans. A full 5 million who are planning to move in the next 12 months say they are moving to the U.S.

Rather than find a solution for the several thousand potential migrants currently at the border, let's start by answering the bigger, harder question -- what about the 42 million who would like to come? What is the message to those millions who will seek entrance either legally or illegally? What should we tell them?

Most U.S. citizens like me just want to know the plan. What is the 10-year plan? How many, exactly whom and what skills will they bring? What do we want? Answer these questions, and the current discussion can be resolved.

Keep in mind that it's not only 330 million Americans who are wondering -- so are 42 million seekers from Latin America.

This is the real reason why Trump wants a free Venezuela. He can get them to build his wall and they will even paint it too!

Not that interesting considering nobody is proposing open borders. So yes, Open borders could attract 42 million as is stated in the article. But since nobody is proposing that, the question is purely about a hypothetical and not something real.

Re: the recent what if? That is an invasion.

Round them up and send them back. And build a bigger wall. Perhaps shoot to kill anyone crossing if it gets bad enough.

Imagine being a county in the United States and you have to file a resolution to complain that the president of the United States lies. Yet, here we are...
