    Bose is mostly marketing.

    You can get better systems for the amount you pay for a Bose one.

    I have a friend who thinks the same way that you do about Bose. But when I went to his house, his home theater sounds like a roller coaster. the funny thing is, he spent thousands to buy different audio components that he thinks would work together.

    If you're not very sure what to buy, get a Bose. it's pricey yes, but it's worth it if you enjoy music.
