If someone here posted that type of info he would be get flamed asap. Seems like the fans are more trusting out there. Maybe that guy has some clout. If it is true then... UH OH

I don't have any inside information, but fifty gets you a hundred that it is true.
It's sad, because he could have been great for us. But geez, who cares? I LOVE this team. With or without Bonzi, we have a GREAT team.

Maybe he posts inside info for them often and hes a good source?? Kindda like Doc Rocket for us!

That might explain why he hasn't got flamed...

If true hope we can get a first round pick out of it!

    Wouldn't be surprising.

I'm just glad we've.. er... JVG had the sense to keep a cancer from ruining team chemistry.

The guy runs this website: http://www.ezekielbearsports.com/

Looks like he's done interviews with quite a few people around the league. Unless he's making all of that up, he seems quasi-reliable at least.

I mean... this is what it is... it's what a guy is "hearing"...

But I think we've known the writing was on the wall for a while anyway.

That's just it. Probably very little.

He's reduced his value to almost nothing.

EDIT: Scratch that... I bet Isaiah is interested.

    :D

I hope it is a good trade. But It will probably be Bonzi shipped to NY for Cato and cash or whatever makes it work :(

Better not just cut him. That's a waste of money and a potential trade commodity. Some lousy east team is probably desperate for the "potential" still within Bonzi's rotund form. Trade him for something - anything.

Well there was this little nugget from Van Gundy:
    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/basketball/nba/recaps/2006/12/05/21186_recap.html

Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy continues to be vague about the status of offseason pickup Bonzi Wells , who's been inactive for the last 14 games. Van Gundy said Wells had a recent hamstring injury, but gave little more explanation why Wells hasn't been playing. ''The less I say, the more likely it is to come to a positive conclusion,'' he said.

That last part is a little ominous

You mean 'hereing', no? This site needs spell check (and homonym check, too!).

As for validity? It seems as likely as not. I also believe Bonzi will have some positive trade value. Definitely positive!

I thought a rule of our forums is that you can't post stuff from other forums, unless its pissed off Mavs and/or Spurs fans b****ing.

    Be afraid, NYC!

well I guess we all had to know...

is it usually for a player who is "out of shape" to not be in uniform, or even in street clothes on the bench...

I was one for lets play him... but... i guess if we did we could have had the guy toss up 25 shots at game at the expense of Yao and Tmac...

really what did he have to lose(if he got play time)... score 20 points a game and get a better contract next year... brick them all and he woud have been in the same boat as if he were sitting out the season...

if he wasnt listening to the coach in none game situtations who says he would come game time...
