RJ barret was a top pick...hes going to be just fine hes elite athletically and the rest he shown hes committed to getting better. His floor is a good starter right now it looks like and hes still very young

bol was a late pick, meant ot be lottery in intrigue, but raw. I would LOVE to get him, but it doesnt look denver are sellers. they are all going all in in jokic, go figure even though it doesn't guarantee a title...traded picks for gordon, reuping their guys and role players(I know you think those are pointles),
but it doesnt seem they will sell

what would you offer them for Bol bol?
boy him, Sengung, and our young guns would be too fun to watch though. I'm on board for swining one of our first protected picks or later picks for this kid and a few 2nd rounders if that might get the job done

He may not play bc hes young, neither did his current team, but this guy is prime for MDA.
Did you guys not see MDA was before PJ and our salary constraints made us have to compromise?
This is the guy that brought out boris diaws uniqueness and also made Amare a beast. Hes a master pick and roll guy which boll would be so versatile in, but also gives iso and just lets players do what they are good at. People don't get, while MDA's of course has his flaws(defense) his rotation was limited by our salary and move constraints so he had to just take what was good and run it to the ground. He is defintiely not right for a lot of teams, but bol bol would flourish in mda.

the flashes when he gets time has made him a fan legend. Hes a unicorn as he says with his reach, his sweet tocuh, and whats overlooked is hes a playmaker with good handles too...
    how to harness that?
its a good problem to have for them

A line up of Jokic, bol, MPJ front court all close to 7 feet and all can shoot pass and create? wow...Tehy are all in their 20s and already have had success, now you take gordon who in theory could guard the 2 and murray...this team is a problem for the next half decade at least...props to their owner going for it without even a finals guarantee...go figure.lol

Very low risk, very high reward move for Detroit.

The more that I think about it, the more I like this deal for Houston. Hopefully Bol can get Detroit some wins and we can finish with 2nd worst record. A lot of people seem too content that we have the same 1st Pick odds as the worst team at no.3, but we could slide all the way back to 7 with some bad luck. With he 3rd pick odds, we would be about 20% more likely to pick 6th or 7th, than 1st. On the other hand, worst record in the league would guarantee us a top 5 pick.

I'm sick of the arguments of people listing great players that weren't top 5 picks too. How are some posters even willing to debate that higher picks aren't better than lower picks? Madness.

As much as I would like to see him here I am happy he is going to get a chance to play. He has talent he just needs a chance to play consistently in a low-stakes environment.

Lol why couldnt Rox jump on this deal? We're a team literally full of midgets. If all it took was a Nets 2nd rounder Rox can easily beat that deal wtf.
