Both players will miss the final game of the season; the Warriors host the Lakers, while the Clippers host Portland. Murphy and Rooks were ejected with 6:26 left in the third quarter of the Clippers' 122-113 victory Monday night. They got tangled up while positioning for a rebound. After they bumped chests and exchanged words, Rooks hooked his left arm around Murphy's neck and tried to throw him to the floor. Murphy got free of Rooks, and both Murphy and Golden State's Jason Richardson knocked Rooks down. Players and coaches from both teams intervened.

I guess I will take the middle of the pack finish. I thought I did ok in the draft, although I had some players I let slide to far. Tried to stay away from the injury ridden players, but that didnt help as my 2nd rounder ended up missing plenty of games. One are I need to improve for next year is picking up players, and leting the sucky ones go, but next year is all mine. Just so you all know.
Man what a fun season this turned out to be! I never thought I would have a chance to win first. The only thing I wanted to do was not finish in the bottom two and get sent back to the minors. Thanks to Bob Finn* for the great job running the league. You answered any questions or concerns quickly. You rule. Thanks to Behad on all the updates throughout the year. Your dedication is much appreciated. I think SF3 and Smeg actually had better teams I did. I don't see how SF3 finished fifth. Alot of it comes down to luck with scheduling. Anybody want to keep their same teams for next year?

Congrats Matador. Hold the trophy with pride! Bob, almost all of my players did get injured. Trust me, it sucks having to use that excuse as the follow up to my Championship. So, what is the deal? Are Finn and I demoted next season?

Thanks for all the congrats folks. It was fun playing with you all. I know not to get too cocky after seeing what happened to Pimp. And I third the notion of no one getting nemoted. Pimp and Finn are too good of competitors to drop down.
All I know is my team is consistently among the best. Dammit, I'm good and deserve a cookie. Congrats Matador.
