We have 2 weeks before the season starts, so we better get this draft started.

    League site is: http://www.fantasybasketballone.com/bobfinnsfant/index.php

The scoring setup and the utility player feature still isn't finished nor is the multi-position setup, hopefully that will be taken care of shortly. Players will be eligible at the positions they are listed at on the site, and many will be able play more than one position.

You will draft 2 centers, 5 forwards and 5 guards. This should give the league some kind of balance and prevent teams from loading up on one position.

The Rosters will remain with those same limits throughout the season. You must state what position you are drafting a multi position player for.

For example, If you were to draft Dirk Nowitzki you must say F or C, if you claim him as a F then you will be able to draft 2 C's, but Nowitzki would be eligible to play the C position as well (since he is listed on the site as a C.

We will have the same setup as last year with the starting lineups

    1 Center
    2 Forwards
    2 Guards
    3 utility

The Forwards and Guards can be 2 SF, 2 PF or a mix, same goes with the guard position. If you don't want a PG you don't have to draft one. The roster will be 12 players and there will be NO IR. If a player gets injured, you either hang on to him until he gets better or waive him for another player.

Let's get this thing rolling. Crisco is ON THE CLOCK!!!

Let's see, I pick last, so I'll be back around...oh....Thursday or so to make my pick.

(I know, I know, I'm being optimistic with Thursday, but I think we are gonna move faster this year.)

do I have to draft on the site as well or just post here?

how do we know which players are multiposition?

if we draft a multiposition player like Dirk and make the "forward" statement, does that mean we can't play Dirk at center during the season?

Post all picks in this thread. I will put them on the website.

Read my explanation above about Dirk (and any other player who plays more than one position)

    kay, is Duncan a F/C?

If he is, then that's my pick and I'd pick him as a center, so I'd have one more center to draft.

if he's not a f/c (*edit*: or if you can't find out if he is) then i'll go with kg.

hey finn, don't forget to post the draft board with all the funky colors.

That has to be w/o a doubt the high light of the draft. ;)

Ok, help me out... where are the players listed on the site?

Is it on the Add/Waive thingy? Is that the only place?

I'm pretty sure those stats are for the last week of last season. Some guys played 4 games and some 2 ...etc

Those ARE NOT any kind of ranking. So just use that as a reference to see who plays what position. Those points are based on our scoring setup minus the FG% and FT%.

Not since I started this with little notice. After we get going we will set a time limit.

Please make it 12 hours. Anything more and I doubt we'll be able to finish this. Has anybody even seen Puedlfor? Is he still alive?

Pood was online earlier. We have to wait until everyone knows the draft has started before we can make a time limit.

    FYI,

If, by any odd chance, it gets to my pick, I'll be available around noon to 1 pm today. After that I won't be available until about 6pm. That's pretty much my schedule from here out. I check in regularly from 6pm to 2am, though. I'll also try to check in early in the mornings before work.
