    At marathon pace, you would probably finish in about 3.5 hours. That is pretty good in my book. I have my first marathon on October 31st. May wear a Yao Ming Jersey. I suspect I'll finish about 4 hours. I just want to survive. At around the 30 k mark I expect I'll be ready to kill myself. I should be somewhere near the Jefferson memorial when this happens.

    I haven't done much long-distance running. 12 km is about the farthest I've run in one session. I like cross-country running; the rougher the terrain, the better.
