    Should Houston consider?

The Charlotte Bobcats are shopping the second overall pick, according to multiple sources.

No this isnt the best source...but just curious would a packaging involving one or both of our draft picks and lowry be worth it?

Id imagine wed take the same player at no 2 that we would if we traded up to 5 or 6...so may not be worth it for us...but I do think we make an excellent trade partner with bobcats.

We have much quality and they need much quality lol.

To get Thomas Robinson or MKG?

    I don't think they're worth it.

It depends if you think Robinson, Kidd-Gilchrist, or Beal are worth it. Also, you could acquire the #2 pick and use it in a trade. I doubt Morey would be willing to give up enough to get the #2 pick, but you never know.

There's a whole lot of number two on their roster to move...

Unless Morey loves Beal, I'd imagine the target would be Drummond so no point in trading additional assets when we could simply make a deal with the Kings. High bust probability but might as well shoot for the stars with a top pick, there is one guaranteed franchise player plus two guys with the potential to be ones as well (Drummond and Jones).

They would probably be asking for both our picks, Lowry, Parsons, and anything else they think has value.

It's a smart move by Charlotte. That #2 pick won't save that franchise.

If the price were, say, Lowry and some combination of Scola or Morris or Ppat or 14 or 16, something not too grotesque that freed cap space.

Then deal the 2 for a player you want or, say, the 6 and 11 picks (Portland) or the 4 and 24 picks (Cleveland) etc.

Too early for a Big man. They probably want an arm and a leg for it too.

I would think it would be a sure thing for the Bobcats to move down.

The immediate suitors would be -- Cleveland, Sacramento, Portland, Golden State (possibly), Toronto, Houston, and Milwaukee.

As far as playoff teams, I'd say Memphis, Philadelphia, and Boston.

It'll be who has the most attractive package of a player with a draft pick or two.

It would probably Lowry, Parsons, Motiejunas and the 16th to get in the neighborhood. A bit steep for my tastes, but you never know.

i think it'd be great if somehow we can pull the #2 as well as the #6 from blazers...it would give us a great young foundation for the future.

They need two arms and two legs for it. That's how bad they were.

    But does orlando value them???

If we traded bot 1sts and lowry for #2 we could ship #2 future dallas and any combination of players its even(or better) than what nets were gonna offer...

For the record i like mkg and it would possibly be worth it...

I think it would be more worth it to turn around and trade with cleveland for 4/24, but then again why wouldnt bobcats do this?

Beal is. Not for both picks though.

I'd do it in a heartbeat to nab Thomas Robinson. He's got stud written all over him. He'd immediately give us the difference making star we've been chasing for the last 3 years.

Any Bobcat deal probably includes a Maggette or Diop salary dump.

Both picks, Lowry, Dalembert, and $3M cash sounds fantastic to me.

Trick is, I'd assume their asking price is obscene, and they're hoping to catch the Lakers interest (Bynum).

    Bobcats don't really need Lowry.

If we could pull that off, that would potentially be Beal and Lillard. Ooooooo!!!! Nice!
