No more of the ho hum, aww shucks, bs...

I saw fire when someone made a mistake.

The team looks and plays like they care.

Empty backfield sets to confuse and defense that's all over the field!

This is one game, but man....I like the feeling I have....

And for the LOVE OF GOD......no QB wearing #8

The curse is finally lifted! (that #8 needs to be retired and then burned)...

I'm up here in Bronco country....but I'm Alief/Houston rockin' Texans gear every chance I get!

    And yes...they are mad. lol

We'll have our ups and downs....but that fire from coach on down....I see it!

Am I the only one that see's it?

I'm a little confused. The Broncos are a lot better than the Texans why would they be mad?

In less than convincing fashion... after coming off of back to back 10+ win seasons.

Here we knew the offense would be a work in progress, but the defense just needed an oil change.

maybe he is going to denver games wearing watt jerseys when the texans are not even playing the broncos. I used to get annoyed by people that would go to reliant wearing vy jerseys and we weren't playing the t***.

Curse won't be lifted until we do something with the Astrodome. The Ghost of the Houston Oilers will haunt us until then.

For example, We finally win but Clowney's injury :(

I dont understand either, but but I've worn my AJ80 jersey around town the past few Sundays and I have encountered the same thing. I got 5 rude comments from Broncos fans in the grocery store the other day. Lots of dirty looks, etc

    Seems dumb to me

The general consensus was (at the time):

OH MY GOD. Look at the heart these players out there have, Matt Schaub is looking like the best QB in the league. Last season Texans would have wilted and died but this time they came back both games!

The delusion was crazy. Everyone that tried to point out the glaring holes in the Texans game last season in the first two games got shouted down.

Let's all keep a cool head this time around, win or lose just go in expecting a rebuild.

People here have a quiet disdain for all things Texas.

    It's weird....

Cant blame 'em for hating the Cowboys tho....I agree with 'em there.

Agreed to some extent. I can't say I actually paid too much attention to the coaching staff's reaction but Washington played a horrible game and Id say the defense does get credit but not all of it.

They beat the team with the 2nd worst record last year.

Last year, after week 1, everybody was happy to see the Texans finally come back and win a game on the road in prime time. Remember that?

Happy with the win. But I think Washington is a bad team that made some bad mistakes. We'll know more in a few weeks. It's a win though.

Why are you so obsessed with restaurants in Katy? I swear half of your posts are referring to chain restaurants in Katy. Did the Chili's at I-10 and Mason bang your girlfriend in high school or something? We get it already.

Probably natives and it's just the fact that you are representing anything Texas ... goes back to the oil boom days of the 8o's when people from Texas were invading the state and buying up huge amounts of land
