All he did was ride crennnels defense to the top of a crappy division. His offense has always been garbage And he created the shyt by bringing in Hoyer and Mallet then screwing up the OL
remember when kid kubes didn't want to fire richard(not to be confused with rick) smith? Compadre Mcnair began inviting Wade for a practice or two. Months later, Wade was the D coordinator. If they're not going to fire B.O.B then at least force his hand with an Offensive coordinator or let Ryan handle the play calling.
I’m just not giving up yet on O’Brien and this team. Like I said in previous post the next few weeks will show a lot imo. But like Watson said all y’all doubters don’t try to get on the train once it takes off.
I'm glad others realize this. We misuse Miller the most, we act like he's some power back and he's never been that.
We're on the train with the team - that's exactly why we're annoyed with not seeing it live up to its obvious potential. If we weren't "on the train", we wouldn't care enough to call for change. This squad shouldn't be losing to 2nd string Titans and terrible Giants in awful fashion. Bill O'Brien always looks like he's in over his head; he's George Costanza-ing as an NFL coach. He is just nodding and acting like he knows what's going on. Owner and GM haven't called him out yet. As I watched Matt Patricia dismantle the Patriots last night I thought - hmm, it sure would be nice to have a former Pats coach who could use his smarts to call plays this well. But no, wait... Bill should be a concessions manager; help the people flipping burgers "fix mistakes" and be the best teammates they can be. That's more his speed.
i would feel different if there were signs of life and they were taking tough losses but that's not the case. instead it's poor execution both offensively and defensively, poor game planning, penalties, poor tackling, and worst of all it's the same mistakes play to play and game to game. That's a huge red flag for me that indicates this coaching staff is in over their heads.
i've been really patient with BOB, and i still think he's a talented guy. But 5 years is long enough to know one way or the other, and i've finally lost confidence in him ...if for no other reason than he can't seem to get our offense moving. He's an offensive guy who somehow presided over the vast decline of a once great offensive line. He doesn't seem to know how to use the backfield in the passing game. i don't see schemes and plays designed to get the ball out of Watson's hand quick; where are the slants, screens and check-down options? He can't seem to achieve balance on offense. Some of it is personnel, but than i remind myself that he has plenty to answer for in that department. If nothing else, our TE, offensive line, and slot WR positions have been continuously terrible under BOB. Until Watson, i've been disappointed in his ability to get production out of the QB position. Special teams has also been a disaster (although we are finally just starting to see improvement there). I think it's time to see what else is out there. We should not be 0-3. I know it's early in the year, but you've got to be accountable. This needs to be his last year if we don't make the playoffs.
McHale at least knew how to let his superstar carry him to victory, bob is actively fking over watson with the sht playcalls
Miller has to run in between the tackles. He can't be predictable and just run outside all the time. I know he's not the biggest running back, but when you have small backs like Dion Lewis and Kamara running in between the tackles, there should be no reason why Miller cant do the same.
The offense is moving though that’s the thing it’s just not resulting in TDS. We are moving up and down the field but it’s the “red area” that’s is killing us. It’s either penalties or turnovers or play calling. We are really hurting ourselves with drive killing plays as of right now. Gotta clean it up.
okay but why is a veteran hc making "rookie" mistakes? why is a veteran hc appear to be regressing? he's lost the plot man, the opportunity and responsibility was too big for him and the pressure got 'em.
