    The Kings are wannabees. It was so lame when their fans started chanting "Beat LA" a couple of years ago. What a ripoff, get something original people! The Lakers all were rolling their eyes at that. At least they've got cowbells. :rolleyes:

    That happens at every significant Laker - Rockets game in Houston...especially when the game is close.

    Spurs fans also did it when I was at a playoff game a few years ago.

    I've never been to a high intensity Mav's game, but I bet their fans have done it also.

    Is it still a lame ripoff when almost everyone does it?

    The reason Sac didn't beat LA in '01 was because Shaq was allowed to travel as much as he wanted. After he travelled they would call a foul on Divac or whoever was guarding him.

    The Kings probably did blow it, but the refs did not help.
