I'm excited about the TCU - UT game on Thanksgiving! TCU in an AQ just makes it more fun now....and even more fun being in the Big12. Schedule: http://www.big12sports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=205379627&DB_OEM_ID=10410 Tech finally has to come to Amon Carter Stadium. http://espn.go.com/college-football...12-football-2012-schedule-released-wvu-tcu-it
Watching Texas/TCU will be fun. Not quite ATM, but TCU has had a better football team in the last decade. I wish the Arkansas game was every year though.
That's ****ing stupid. The issue was never that they could not find a time to play and the writer knows that. They just can't decide to play 1 more game than everyone else. West Virgina and Pitt are in the same place. The big 12 only has 3 non conference games now. That is what makes it difficult. It would be expensive and in bad showing to cancel 5 or 6 games that are already scheduled so they can play A&M?
Yeah, not sure why anyone would be excited about two teams playing each other who have both done better in recent history than the team that played in the game last year.
Get over it Ziggy. I don't know any fellow longhorns that are heartbroken over losing the ATM game. Sure it would have been fun to keep on playing it but we don't really care that much. TCU is an adequate replacement. Personally, if we had to have a annual out of conference rivalry game, I would choose Arkansas. More of a natural rivalry because its a neighboring state, and Arkansas has ruined many National Championship opportunities for us.
I can't wait for next year. TCU's schedule gets harder every week, starting with Grambling, then to Kansas to start the Big 12 schedule and leads all the way up to UT and then OU. Tough games for TCU will be: at WVU at OSU at UT home against OU I think the rest won't be too bad (but we did lose to SMU last year) Side note: 4 TCU football players were arrested in a drug bust this morning, their names will be released in about an hour, hopefully nobody important.
After listening to the press conference it sounds like all 4 football players lived off campus, meaning their juniors or seniors in most cases....but we'll see soon.
Honestly I am more excited to seeing Texas face Notre Dame, USC and Ole Miss in non-conference games than beating down Aggy again.
Not a good way for TCU to start their Big 12 tenure. http://outkickthecoverage.com/welco...ents-arrested-in-massive-campus-drug-bust.php
