i recognized him as well and thought the zafiro anejo tequila they drank with the broker sounded familiar. http://breakingbad.wikia.com/wiki/Zafiro_Añejo the link also said a bottle of zafiro costs $7800. no wonder it was $50/drink... any guesses on what their tab was?
I love this show. Loved the symbolism with the light switch. My dream for the show is to have Walt as a recurring regular as it progresses, and have Saul actually be outsmarting Walt, and swindling Walt out of millions without him even knowing it. Seeing that from Saul's point of view would be orgasmic. Okay, maybe I hyperbolize a bit, but still.
still did not reveal how or why they broke up in the first place other than Jimmy being kind of a "non winner"
A small correction to you post: Cinnabon in Omaha not Nebraska I'm really impressed with this show. The writing is top notch, acting is excellent and the cinematography is great as well. The use of lighting for telling the story in the different times: past, present and future is pretty cool.
No--the links says Zafiro may be based on a drink that costs $7800 a bottle $50/shot would make for a $750-$1000 bottle or so. It sounded like they went through 1 bottle? I'd assume the tab was a little over 1k
I found this on the YouTube website, not the internet. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6GI4rwSqrEk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Haha sorry guys I screwed up. Omaha is in Nebraska. Nevertheless, it's the middle of no-where. Great show.
It's a fake brand. Doesn't actually exist. Apparently, no brand wanted to sponsor the scene of dozens dying when taking a shot of their tequila....haha. Plus, those dollar numbers don't match anyhow. That would be like a gallon-sized bottle if each shot was only $50.
Very interesting you say that about Talking Saul. I feel the opposite way. I think Talking Saul is much needed(probably even more so than Talking Dead). I don't really feel GoT needs an after show as much as Talking Saul. There are so many things, symbols, BB guest actors/actresses, episode plots, that need to be broken down a bit further and explained to some of us that might not get it just by watching one episode.
First scene when Saul was trapped in a space.... he kept his cool, carved SG was here and got out when the janitor came in
