fyi, my friend who has the pass already figured out a work around to watching a movie again. We showed up to watch a midnight movie, he was going to get a ticket for Hasel and Gretel, but wanted to check in/buy another movie since he was going to watch a movie today also (Friday). So he checked in for like a 11:45pm showing of Mama, but when he went to the kiosk at AMC and bought his ticket, he did purchase the Hansel and Gretel midnight showing no problem.

So my guess, when you check in on your smartphone, Moviepass just loads the funds to your Moviepass debit card, doubt they can really check to see if you actually bought a ticket for that movie. So a work around to watching a movie again, is to just check in to another movie, load the funds, and get whatever movie you want, regardless if you watched it already. Wonder if it'll work for a premium showing (Imax/3D)

Interesting, I might have to get back to you once I get my card and more good movies are coming out... So far the only ones I kinda want to see coming out in a couple of weeks is the Stallone movie, Bullet to the head.. I think the month of March comes around more good movies are being release, especially Chan Wook Park's Stoker!!!

Do you know how this works for people that commute a lot?

I live in Austin mainly right now for college, but I visit Houston quite a bit. I would love to get this for my younger siblings and myself. Would I be able to use this both in Austin and in Houston?

Its basically any movie theater that take Discover as credit card payment, which I would guess is about 90% of movie theaters

My only guess is the smaller movie chains that wouldn't take Discover

Do you pay monthly but it's a year contract? Thinking of doing this. This is the equivalent of two matinees a month for my wife and me.

does it work only for regular movies or can you watch IMAX or 3D films as well without having to pay extra?

monthly fee, 12 month contract. early termination fee if you want out. 30 day trial period though.

Only works for 2d movies. You can pay an extra $3 or so for IMAX or 3D movies if I remember correctly.

Also it is only 1 ticket. If you want for you and your wife, You'd need 2 subscriptions, one for each of you. Just a heads up
