Luck is ahead of Griffin according to ESPN's Total QBR. Not sure if one stat is supposed to be "better" than the other.
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/10/10/espns-qbr-stat-puts-tebow-ahead-of-rodgers/ According to that stat VY was a top 10 qb his final 2 years as a starter.
RG3 is 4th in the NFL in QB rating, 1st in YPA by a decent margin. That is INSANE for a rookie. His 16/4 TD/INT ratio is also insane for a rookie. Consider also how many passes his WRs have dropped, which has been frustrating. Believe it or not, even though RG3 had incredible stats yesterday, it definitely wasn't his sharpest game of the season. His WRs made great plays for him. However, that back -shoulder throw in the end zone was a thing of beauty. I haven't watched Luck nearly as much. But the eye test tells me something: From the beginning of the season, Luck is more advanced as an NFL QB than RG3. There are more things put on his plate and he's asked to make more plays with his arm. Like Steve Smith was for Cam Newton last year, Reggie Wayne has been huge for Luck's success throwing the ball. RG3's security blanket has been RB Alfred Morris. IMO, RG3 is a more accurate passer. Luck has more overall responsibility running the Colts offense. In coming years, more will be put on RG3's plate and I'm sure he will excel. I have no doubt whatsoever Luck will improve his accuracy and TD/INT ratio. These guys are going to be fun to watch for a very long time.
At this time I would take RG3 10 out of 10 times over Andrew Luck. But of course my opinion can change
doubt it Andrew Lucks ceiling is Philip Rivers, RG3's is Steve Young.. poor mans Aaron Rodgers both will be great QB's i would say 6/10 would favor Luck but it would be closer than a 9/10 or 10/10 that you are predicting
Luck's ceiling is Rivers? LOL where did you ever get that idea from. Luck have a decent chance to surpass Manning and Brady when it is all said and done.
Go ahead and slather over RG3 to your heart's content, but why say something idiotic like this? Sig worthy.
wat u think bout Colin Kaepernick n Russell Wilson...........couldnt list him wit just 1 game...............but dood balled out
Too many good QBs. Luck and RG3 will be the next Brady v. Manning in terms of comparing each other's play.
