Best Rockets All Time Lineup

    What are you guys best Rockest lineup ever.
    mine would be something like

    C- Hakeem, Moses Malone
    PF= Elvin Hayes, Charles Barkley
    SF- ?
    SG-Clyde Drexler, Vernon Maxwell
    PG- Calvin Murphy, Steve Francis

    I know im leaving some out

    Robert Reid. I can't believe you'd leave out Bobby Joe. He was probably the best matchup for Trajic west of Larry Bird.

    Rodney Mac is a good call. Talk about tough.

    Your leaving out John Lucas. He was easily the best point guard that we have ever had.

    Gladd to see that you are giving Big E some respect although he mostly played the 5 when he was here. He played mostly the 4 when he came back with Mo at the 5. I still think that the years Ralph Sampson played the 4 were the best years this team has ever had at the 4. I also think Otis Thorpe was a better 4 for the Rockets than Chuck.

    At SF I think you have to go with Rudy T. with Rodney McCray, Rick Barry and Robert Horry as the other possibilities.

    SF - Horry, Rudy T, Reid

    PG - Lucas, Francis

    'Injured Reserve' - Cassell, McCray, Barkley

    If you had to put the best 5 players on the floor, I think you would see-

    C- Moses
    PF- Hakeem
    SF- Drexler
    SG- Murphy
    PG- Francis

    Francis and four guys who are, or will be, in the Hall of Fame.

    That is pretty good company.
