Motley Crue at Austin Music Hall '98 (voted Best Live Show of the Year at SXSW)
Motley Crue at Bronco Bowl in Dallas '98
Motley Crue at Majestic Theatre SA '99
Motley Crue/Cheap Trick at the Alamodome '97

Geez, there are so many...I'd have to go with the M3 shows as the best...they just put out so much energy. Too bad they broke up.

    Cindy Blackman is a stud.

My best concert ever probably has to be McCoy Tyner (pianist for Coltrane among others) along with Avery Sharp on bass and Al Foster on drums. WOW. Truly amazing. The disgusting thing was, it was at a jazz festival, and there were a lot of high school kids there who could have cared less. Lots talked through the performance and/or got up and left part way through.

OK, my nickname has nothing to do with Nsync, THEY SUCK ASS. I can't believe you put a boyband on your list. The only selections that are worse are Warrant (Jesus, Nsync is bad enough but WARRANT? Why didn't you name Poison?) and Rammstein (We can't really play music)!

BTW: I didn't put on my list:

Neil Young with Booker T and the MGs at the Woodlands, and David Bowie, Changes tour - when he played all his old stuff, and as someone else mentioned, Metallica pre-LarsUlrichF***headI'mthebastardthatshutdownNapster days. They blew the Cult away.

Hey dammit, you callin' me out there HayesStreet??!!?!?!?!? ;). I was never a Warrant fan, but that Motley Crue show with Warrant opening (Dr. Feelgood tour, 1989) was my first concert, and the Crue rules. Too bad Warrant was opening for them. As for Rammstein, I they're not favorites by a long shot, but the first Family Values Tour f*cking ROCKED. As for Rammstein, they were pretty good, and their show was excellent. Everything, and I mean everything was on fire, including the lead singer. So neither of those two were favorites, but the show Warrant was with, and and the show Rammstein put on, were AWESOME.

    And n'stink does suck.

Def Leppard-Wurzburg, GE - They played in a high school gymnasium. Germans do not know how to rock. Ugly kid Joe opening act was horrible.
Mettalica-Greensboro,NC-90% of the chics were overweight, nasty skanks. Despite the lack of babes, the concert was still great.
Creed-Fayetteville,NC-Charity event to provide toys for kids on Xmas. $5 for 5 bands. Fortunately, they scheduled Jackal last so we were able to escape out without hearing "chainsaw" music.
    RAM-Charlotte,NC
Smashingpumkins-Charlotte,NC - Most energetic. Corgan really leaves it all on the stage.

    X110thst YEP!!!

You should try and do anything you can to see this production!

I was laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face the whole time! And I wasn't the only one. The entire audience was rolling.

The second act was pure magic. Hardly one word of dialogue because it takes place "back stage", but the physical comedy was stunning!

Course it also could have been the three pints before the show! ;)

Alright, alright. Motely Crue has always been good in concert. I thought you were giving props to Warrant. And I've never seen Rammstein so I don't really know what I'm talking about on that one.

As for Nsync, if they are family friends, I guess I can understand that....uh.....maybe....

I wish...just could not buy that airline ticket halfway around the world...:(

But, this line-up blew me away for months:

    REO Speedwagon
    Rush ... and ended with
    Blue Oyster Cult

    RR

    Wide variety, but great shows.

Garth Brooks, '92, Summit. They were filming for a TV special, so he was great.

Deeelite, '94 in FL. Great show and performers. After the concert, they played at a club all night.

Sasha and Digweed 12 hour set for my birthday in '95. Nothing like a cooler of Newcaste shared with your favorite DJ's. Awsome night. Better than K-5 playing in my condo the next year.

Love Parade '96 - Germans can party.
