Fadeway, recent news has John Woo as director for the next Turtles movie. He also said he wants to take tmnt to the darker comic book side.

Hydra I LOVE Spawn,on HBO!

Simpsons and King of the Hill are good also!

I use to be heavy into comics and am still interested in them even though I dont buy them anymore!

I like:
Batman Beyond
X-Men Evolution
Men In Black

I liked a lot of the old ones I use to watch on the cartoon network but cant remember thier names, maybe someone can help me?

Like Space Ghost, and the one with Bloob and Bleeb with the gorilla looking guy and the Rhinosaurus that shot rocks out of his horn on his head.

Man,I wished I could remember some names, there are a lot!

Space Ghost wins in the "lowest production values, highest yield category."

Good responses, except...SPEEDRACER?!?!?!

I thought about Ren and Stimpy, but left them off my list.

And one of my favorite old school characters...

"Now get outta, boy, Ya bother me!"

Foghorn Leghorn

Finally someone mentions one of my faves! Batman Beyond is one of the best animated shows on TV right now. Will Freidle(sp?) (Eric from "Boy Meets World") does a great job as the new Batman, Terry McGinnis. I'm glad they brought Kevin Conroy back as Bruce Wayne also. I've always been a big fan of the "darker" animated cartoons (Batman: The Animated Series, Gargoyles) so this show continues a great tradition in my mind.

p.s. No one has mentioned Captain Planet. tsk tsk... [IMG]

'Robotech' on DVD
Houston-based ADV Films, a top video distributor of Japanese animation, is releasing the entire Robotech series of the 1980s on DVD (but not tape), starting with two discs sporting six episodes each.
They are Robotech -- The Macross Saga: First Contact and Robotech -- The Macross Saga: Transformation.

Single discs are $14.98. For $44.98 you can buy Macross -- Saga 1: The Robotech Legacy, combining both discs with a third featuring Codename: Robotech.

"Nostalgia for the '80s is huge," ADV's Corey Henson said of the action-adventure series.

ADV eventually will release all 85 episodes, last shown on the Cartoon Network but not currently on TV.

RUT-RO!

How could I have forgotten Scooby-Doo?

With special guests, the Harlem Globetrotters.

When John Rocker takes the sign from the catcher, he looks like Scooby, that kinda dumb look like he's trying to form a thought.

1. The Simpsons - somehow it's always managed to stay fresh.

2. Tom & Jerry - The best of the old school.

3. DBZ - hooks you so you keep tuning in for the next episode, like rasslin.

4. X-Men Evolution - It's a new show on the WB that goes back to the X-men's teen days (Yes, I'm a big time dork for watching it.)

I am seriously upset that no one has mentioned Ren and Stimpy yet. That show was one of the funniest "children" shows I have ever watched.

My List
-------

1) Simpsons
2) Family Guy
3) Futurama
4) Ren and Stimpy
5) The Critic
6) King of the Hill
7) Beavis and Butthead
8) Thundercats
9) Transformers
10) Duckman
11) Ducktales
12)GI Joe
13) South Park

That is all I can think of that I watched, for now.

Cartoons (a little piece of my heritage)

Go-Bots - "Mighty Robots, Mighty Vehicles, Go-Bots!"
Hercules - "Olympia!!"
Astroboy - "Stronger than all the rest, he may be small but he'll pass the test.. Astroboy, Astroboy!"
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - "Cowabunga, dude!"

=====

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

They're the world's most fearsome fighting team.
They're heroes in a half-shell and they're green.
When the evil Shredder attacks,
these Turtle boys won't' cut 'em no slack!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Splinter taught them to be ninja teens (he's a radical rat)
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines (that's a fact, Jack)
Raphael is cool but rude (gimme a break)
Michealangelo is a party dude! (paaarrttyyy!)

==========

"Hercules! Hero of song and story.
Hercules! Winner of ancient glory.
Softness in his eyes,
iron in his thighs,
virtue in his heart,
fire in every part
of the Mighty Hercules!!"

I always thought it was funny that they wrote the song, "Donatello does machines, when they could have just as easily said builds, or makes, or whatever..."does" just has odd connotations.

But thanks for reminding me of this show, fadeaway. I can't believe that I forgot about it, it was the most important show to me in my childhood.

In my list above, it fits in right nicely above King of the Hill.

Oh I liked Tom & Jerry and DuckTales too and also Woody Woodpecker!

AstroRocket,I didnt even know Will Freidle was McGinnis.

I know its off subject but did anyone watch Will in Go Fish?I really liked it and just wanted to know if anyone else did.The girl his little brother likes looks like a young Karen Mcdougal to me!!!

Thats not why I liked it though I thought it was hilarious, the only reason why I ask if anyone liked it because I only know one other person who watched it and he said he liked it but didnt think it would last!?!
