Looks a thousand times better than Call of Duty, but once again....just another war game that I doubt is really that different from Battlefield 3. The FPS genre is getting rather stale in my opinion...
Graphics look amazing, imagine something like Fallout 4/ next Elder Scrolls with that engine. Can't wait.
Why can't other developers be like Irrational Games and stick with what they are good at? No one gives a crap about single player in Battlefield. I wish they dedicated all that dev time in to only the multiplayer.
Here's the newest version of the engine Bethesda uses for their games: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/bJf56cyiGT4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Can't wait! As for BF4, visuals were nice, gameplay didn't really stand out, etc. Probably would be best if they stuck to multiplayer.
I don't know how much this matters (don't really care too much about BF myself, other than for the tech), but here's some details I read: - No Wii U version. - No coop mode (unlike BF3) - Can't play as female in multiplayer (guess this was a rumor?)
+1. I like BF3, but it doesn't have that same fun level as Bad Company 2 does. BF3 tried too hard to be realistic. Bad Company 2 has a perfect balance of realism and fun. And the destruction environment is a lot better.
I don't know about you guys but I prefer the grittier feel of Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 than the clownish feel of Bad Company. In terms of single player of course.
OMG! SimCity and its DRM were so terrible! The game sucked in every way! Screw EA! *2 weeks later* OMG! I can't wait until Battlefield 4!!!
The graphics look improved with this new engine, but the trailer doesn't really show any innovation to the genre. The only new thing I saw was they added an iron sight on a scoped weapon.
