Wizards have no perimeter defense (and have not all season) but their interior defenders still try to challenge the shot - Sarr would be second only to Wemby in blocks but he is 1-2 games short of being quaified.

I'm not so sure the league liked that that happened. Kobe is a great name for #2 all time, Bam, not so much. He had 43 at half and his efficiency at that point was still really good. Spo probably just told him to go for it. Now that Heat locker room is ride or die with him no matter what.

Honestly, what the Wizards, Nets, Jazz, etc do every night is a bigger affront to basketball than this. If those teams insist on being the Washington Generals, then I have no qualms with other teams going Globtrotters on them.

 

The 4th quarter was a travesty, but I'm pretty sure that for just about every game ever in which a player scored over 65, at some point it became a side show, with teammates doing everything gimmicky that they can do to help him, with the player becoming ball-hoggy and gunning, and with opponents doing gimmicky crap to stop him.

Kobe may be the one exception, he probably got 70+ legit, since his team was actually BEHIND for much of the 2nd half.
