actually, as many technicals as steve seems to get each season, when was the last time steve got kicked out of a game for a real second technical. as in not kennedy calling him for celebrating in sacramento or the equally ridiculous 2nd technical for "elbowing" flopton? i wanna say he got a double tech in the last minute of a game last year with the game already decided so even that's not what i'm looking for. when's the last time he just went off and earned a real 2nd T?

 

I don't want there to be a first time.

I think it's ok when the team is low on energy and he slaps the backboard to pump the team up. But that takes away his safety net - the referees make mistakes, and it's nice to have that safety net in those situations.

 

He is smart about it. Get one thats fine but not 2!

 

I'm glad he doesn't get them from hanging on the rim too long.

 

Speaking of which, there was a double tech tonight on Stevie and KG. There seemed to be some bad blood between the two during the game, although that may have just been frustration on KG's part. Anyone know anytihng?
