I hope Rivers is fine with taking the vet min this off-season. He definitely plays hard defensively even when he screws up on the offense every now and then.
I hope Tillman ponies uo and we keep both Faried and Rivers. They have been invaluable to this team Rivers isn't putting up the stats but he knows the offense and doesnt commit a lot of turnovers. Rivers = What McW should have been Faried = What Melo should have been Shumpert just needs to not suck and Morey wouldve made up fpr his horrible offseason.
I have never been a fan of Austin Rivers. I think he is in the league for basically one reason, his last name.
I love his defense on small scorers a lot. But his jumpshot looks just so bad i can't believe his father is a basketball coach and allowed this form to materialise
He's not a shooter, but we need him to play with that swag. He is helping the team, he's defending well, did it great against Steph. And is a threat 1on1. Will be good to have him on a tough playoffs series, remember that.
Austin want to drive he need midrange curls off the ball and with the Ball high and elbow pick n rolls and his game will come out he is not a person to stand like a statue and shoot
Like his hustle, nice defense, but if he never took another 3 point shot with this team I wouldn't be too upset .. actually I would kinda like it if he didn't.
Just wanted to bump this considering Austin Rivers signed back with us knowing the media was trying to tear us apart with articles coming out left and right about our team's chemistry/issues. He could have also signed for more money elsewhere (just fair speculation). He is a bargain and has been great for us!
