Shout out to Rivers for defending steph Curry when guarded by Rivers: 1/3/19: 46 possessions 7/18 38.9% FG 2/10 20% 3PT, 3TOs 2/24/19 (last night): 26 possessions 1/5 20% FG 0/3 0% 3PT, 1TO Total: 72 possessions 8/23 34.8% FG 2/13 15.4% 3PT, 4 TOs
Amazing stats. Rivers somewhat controlling (though these stats show much more, I am trying to control my happiness level) and then Thick on Durant, goes a long way towards explaining why the Rockets have done so well against the Worriers this year.
Rivers was shooting like a bum, but boy was that defense refreshing. I rewatched the game, Rivers (and Nene) aren't getting enough shine for their low-key contributions.
Shout out to Rivers for putting the clamps on his future brother-in-law! His shot is off, but he's playing really hard regardless, and that deserves respect. Sit down.
Lol, I mean Shaq said during All Star Weekend in front of everyone that Curry wasn't black, but light-skinned, so...
Steph is mixed race, so I get where Shaq was coming from. But his mix is predominantly of Afro lineage, so he's basically black. But that comment was so unnecessary anyway.
We are all mixed races forming one race: the human race. It comes as a shock to most that humans are 99.99999% physiologically the same. Race cannot be determined by DNA analysis. But back to sports.
Austin is playing great two-way defense, against both the opponent and himself. This is what I call a complete defender.
Yeah, I couldn't care less. I just found Shaq's comment to be so out of the blue and weird that I'm still sort of morbidly fascinated with it.
The gap between Austin Rivers' defensive footwork and Austin Rivers' shooting form makes me want to cry.
