It would be nice if Berkman could get back to his Cincy killing ways. Hopefully Beltran won't have to miss any time.

Oswalt will get one step closer to 20 wins. He should have about 4 or 5 starts after this one, more if they are in the race at the end.

    Beltran is in the lineup.

Actually, if they lose tonight... they should still win the next two. (see last series in Cincy).

If anything, tonight should dictate whether or not we sweep... but anything can happen in baseball.

One thing of note this series: Casey OWNS Lidge.

We need runs because we can't really count on Pete to give us a quality start, hopefully he will though. How's the bullpen situation? is Dan Micelli back or is he still out with the pinkeye?

He's still out.... probably another 4-5 days or so.

The way Scrap Iron probably has it set up is Qualls, Harville, Wheeler, than Lidge.

If we're losing, expect Bully and Gallo to get some time.

Springer is just coming up from AAA, and I have no idea what role could fill...

Braves rally in the 9th to beat the Giants. Cubs up 2-0 on the 3rd facing Rocky Biddle - probably little hope there. Florida is up 1-0 with Willis facing Al Leiter.

Agreed... see 2001 Playoffs, game 1 vs. Braves. His huge homerun should have been enough to win that game, if it werne't for Larry Dierker, Mike Jackson, and Julio Lugo.

Ugh... ugly play by Harville and Kent could lead to a VERY big inning.

    Edit: I love good karma...

When was the last time an Astros opponent had bases loaded no outs and our bullpen was able to hold them to no runs? The Reds look like we looked a few weeks ago. Give up an early lead, cut into it, then give it right back.
