"He wears his sunglasses at night..."

Why is that first inning run by Pittsburgh earned? Is it because the error was on Roy to begin with? I though errors by the pitcher are evaluated just like errors by any other position player... as they can lead to unearned runs.

    Maybe I'm mistaken...

EDIT: they fixed it... it was an unearned run.

What a bunch of punch-n-judy hitting out there by the Stros so far.

I was hoping we would jump all over Fogg and his massive ERA.

I guess 7 days in a row without batting practice will make ya look that way................

Kent just missed that, twice. Two times he just missed HR's.

    UGH. Berkman caught stealing.

    2-1 Bucs.

We need to get the bats going, badly.

Lets not waste another superb start by Oswalt by getting only 1 run off of a mediocre pitcher. Miller and Oswalt could both be 4-0 if it weren't for our inept offense.

Astros hitters must have not gotten the memo that Tim Redding was not pitching tonight...

Tommorow will be MUCH tougher against Kip Wells... maybe that's the challenge these batters need.

EDIT: Apparently, the message was sent only to Chavez, and he forgot to share it with everybody else...

geez....please don't tell me this is the same pitcher that was ROCKED by the Cubbies last week, and couldn't even get an out.

And now he has nearly pitched 7 innings with only 1 run scored.

BOOOOOOM Doggy just out runs the throw!!!

    TIE GAME!!!

    WOW that was close!!!

    UGH

This is bad. We can't catch anyone stealing. And we always get caught stealing.

Unlucky break on the AE steal (he beat the throw, but slid over the bag, and couldn't get back in time... too much speed, I guess).

Roy out there for the 8th at close to 100 pitches and a fully rested bullpen... but he's Roy.

EDIT: Arrgh... left a hanger, preceeded by a hit and a walk... 2 run double. That's it for Roy...

Be prepared to count at least 8 different, "That's baseball...." quotes when the team is asked about its inept hitting tonight.

Hitting, and lack thereof, is defintely contagious.

Is Jimy trying to prove a point by leaving pitchers in this year?

    Unbelievable.

You're hanging that loss on Jimy Williams? Damn, that guy should pick up a bat and see if he can get a hit against Fogg. Bagwell, Berkman and Kent sure as hell couldn't.

If he takes Oswalt out, and the bullpen gives up the big hit, you'd blame him then too...just like last year. Ridiculous.

WOW Doggy just killed a lady in the stands. She was hit by the HARD hit in the face.

Well, the stupid low wall in the outfield just coast us a run!!! Doggy's hit goes over the wall for a out of play double. Berkman would have scored, but he was forced to stop at third!

EDIT: BASES LOADED!! Lamb walked! Ausmus up to bat, 1-2 count. NO OUTS.
