Either that or their arse getting spanked, but it has the same effect.

Hoping to see FVV play again sometimes before the play off ends. So that in off season, rockets can make a re-assessment and plan accordingly. (Keep / trade etc.)

    From one year ago:

Now FVV "solves so many issues"

Here's Fred with his late game savvy. Keeping the team composed to pull out a clutch dub:

Here he is again making late game plays to seal a win:

    More late game winning plays:

He is neither, just a decent midget PG who can keep Turnovers lower, and a streaky shooter.

Rockets wanted to accelerate their rebuild and this is the result. We look at teams like the Thunder and the Spurs and wonder how their rebuild could happen so quickly. When truthfully they've been largely irrelevant since 2015 (Thunder) and 2016 (Spurs). Rockets started over in 2019.

Funny enough, Daigenault was coach for a lot of those losing seasons. I think Ime makes it hard to see but this has basically been a rebuilding year masquerading as a contending year.

I hate to be callous, but if they're all stupid enough to tempt fate - I'm rooting for fate to close this "window" and force the team to retool around Reed, Amen, Jabari and maybe Sengun if he promises to work on his game this summer instead of playing for Turkiye.

Agree….coming off serious leg injury, 32 and slow and a career shooter under 40%, what could go wrong with that scenario???

I’ve been wanting Fred traded for 2 years now. There were many cheaper options out there that could give us his production. The rockets ignored all that and gave him an extension. The organization deserves this karma.

That just means the other team won’t be able to back him down easily to post up ;)

Yea agreed. The way I see it, this team doesn’t have a true point guard in the lineup and it’s more and more obvious that we most likely won’t go far in the playoffs this year the way the team is currently constructed.

I’ve never seen a team have this many stupid turnovers every game, it’s maddening lol.

So the way I look at it, as long as the doctors clear him to play and like you said if he’s close to that 85-90%, there really is no downside for the teams hopes this year. Is there a chance he doesn’t move the needle as much as we’d hope? Sure.. we have no clue how he’ll look once he’s back.

But there is also some chance that he’s at that 85-90% range and in that case he very well can make us look like a normal team with an actual competent point guard. He was damn good in the playoffs last year. If we get the playoff Fred again, then look out. We may just have some hope lol

Fvv is long gone. He's got a double neck with a limp.

Fred ain't returning this season, folks. You don't come back from an ACL tear in 6 months. Sure, if the Rockets play into mid-May, then we're talking close to 8 months and maybe it's more realistic.

But in that scenario, the Rockets are in the Western Conference Finals and clearly don't need Fred.
