This house needs to do something at some point. Very inefficient group thus far.

Good luck with that. Who is going to make Trump deliver them to Congress?

Funny thing you should mention districts.

A lot of the districts are gerrymandered after 2010. A legit concern is that Republican leaning voters will be pushed back into Red corner, if the House impeaches.

Agree... don't jump the gun in that one. Trump may very well stretch out this ukraine issue only to reveal his phone call was simple and not some illegal quid pro quo stuff people are speculating on.

She has the votes in the house, not in the Senate.

I don't care if she has the votes or not. The House should have voted on impeachment a while ago, but Pelosi cares more about power than responsibility. It'd probably lose in the Senate, it might even lose in the House, it might hurt Democrats in 2020, but she's still a craven coward for not bringing it.

It's too late, imo. Primaries start in February and the general next summer. Running impeachment hearings concurrent with electioneering is about the least honest timing you can have.

It's more than least honest timing. A big issue, beyond risking a public revolt, is that impeachment hearings would dominate the news cycle and pull away air time from primaries. That free press would be costly to the candidates.

It's going to have to be clear cut, if it is, then I can even see the Senate going for it.

Remember these are politicians, yes, boot lickers for Trump to be sure but if they (Cruz, Romney, Rubio etc etc) see that they can create a void that they can then fill in 2020, if a new leader of the GOP steps up, it could certainly happen. The Dems have to sell this to the GOP as taking YOUR party back.

ONE charge? Like ten charges of obstruction. Those are a slam dunk.

There's Trump asking Comey for loyalty, asking Comey not to investigate Flynn, firing Comey while FBI was investigating Trump and for not pledging loyalty and not dropping investigation of Flynn, there's Trump asking his people to fire the special prosecutor, Trump lying about building a Moscow Tower, Trump's trying to coordinate with Wikileak leaks and lying about it, Trump trying to get Sessions not to recuse himself from Russia investigation, Trump trying to limit Russia investigation to future interference, Trump lying about Trump Tower meeting with Russians, Trump coercing Cohen to lie under oath, and then we have Trump's latest stupidity with Ukraine.

This guy is such a freaking clown that his own lawyers wouldn't let him testify in person because they knew he would lie his ass off. Even then, he couldn't remember 30+ times to written questions. The stable genius with the greatest memory, 30+ times. GTFO

    I laughed.

The only people still talking and thinking about Clinton are people like you who refuse to acknowledge that you've sold out to support a lying buffoon and a clown. That's a stain that is never going away but I will enjoy your breathless, desperate attacks on the next Democratic President with Democrat left fringe liberal whatever the hell to which we'll simply need to respond with /Trump.
