I heard it was more in the range of 2 - 3 billion rather than 5 billion. Whatever the exact number, it is still quite a bit of money that has been skimmed off. Arafat's Billions
I found a story that puts the estimate in the $4.2 - $6.5 billion range. Arafat Aides Resume Talks With Israel, Fight Over His Fortune
OK, so it's in the 2-6.5 bill range. Thanks for the links!! I think I had read the 2nd one before and thats where i got the info.
No problem because I am also curious on what the approximate amount is.
Considering the amount of money that his wife is used to spending every month; she is probably going to be reluctant in giving it to the Palestinian people. In regards to a will or some other legal instrument that would go into force after his death, I doubt that he would be charitable after hording money for years & years.
Shouldn't that be a... ( * ? Question btw... why all the US love for the former head of the PLO terrorist groups? Israel olympian tragedy? Plane hijackings, etc? Remember? Will we mourn OBL in 25-30 years??
Until Sharon checks out of this world...there is gonna be no peace...he was/is a ruthless killer.(Lebanese War..him and the States did a good number on them)
Interesting story......... Palestinian leaders head to Paris to announce Arafat's death
He is dead, no, he is alive, no, he is dead, no, he is alive, no, he is dead, no, he is alive........... Today, Drudge ran both headlines simultaneously; they have it covered either way!
Between this and the reign of witches thread, I keep thinking the wicked witch is dead. Guess not...yet.
