    I like it. A little bit of "how do you like me now" in last night's game.

    MDA yells at players a lot. I'm actually not down with that, but to each his own. Grown men yelling at grown men - just a bad look IMO. As long as you're not getting choked I guess it's fine.

    Phil let his assistants yell while he relaxed in his high chair.

    If fantastic offensive box scores and a 6-8 seed are your goals, then d'Antoni's your man.

    John Fox -> Gary Kubiak
    Gary Kubiak -> Bill O'Brien

    A Peyton-led offense and a defensive juggernaut stayed that way, while a perennial mediocre team stayed that way too. You tell me what's missing in this analysis. Here's a hint: it ain't Kubiak.

    This is the first time 'fire' and 'our coaches name' have ever been a thread title without suggesting a witch hunt.

    I noticed too. When Pringles puts Montrezl in the regular rotation and pulls Brewer & Ennis he's just what the doctor ordered.

    I pointed this exact thing out last night to my friend. He's in there fighting for the players and and talking with refs to get the right calls. Also loved every bit of it when he jumped in between harden and Jennings at the end.

    So are we saying that {clap, clap} play harder {clap, clap} isn't enough?

    I think it's really important for a coach to be passionate because then you know he won't take **** when the players don't follow his game plan. I don't want a strict disciplinarian coach like Tom Thibs who will burn your players into the ground with death practices or a discipline maniac like Skiles who will bench a key player two games for wearing a headband, but at the same time you don't want a pushover who can't stand up to players when they don't follow his orders. There are a lot of amazing coaches at the NBA level who can create superb Xs and Os, but all that is useless if the players don't want or can't execute the play. So to me it's key to have a coach who is passionate on the court because the players know they're gonna be benched if they don't follow the game plan.

    I'm not a big fan of the sideline antics especially he's inclination to talk up the refs. Focus more on the game and be fiery to the action on the court like some of the other coaches, hold your players accountable and have a good grasp on game flow and timing is all I could ask from my coach. Hopefully this team doesnt start going on long losing stretches or :gulp: implodes and turns into another Knicks team or you'll see Danny Downer appear and make you cringe so much you may get perma joker face from the charade.

    Dude does some chill pre game interviews though I'll give him that.
