[Animated TV] Voltron - New Netflix/Dreamworks Series

Well .. . . is it because of political SJW type of arguments?

It's mostly about the story being rushed, loose ends, dropped plot lines, character motivations. There is still a lot of anger about the relationship decisions (not the one you would expect), but the way Voltron ended the story is what most people are sad about.

I was reading reactions online and apparently there was a lot of in fighting between writers behind the scenes. There were plans that were scraped in favor of other things that were kept secret from whole departments.. It's a huge cluster f-ck I had no Idea was going on.

 

Boy, at least you knew where Goliath was coming from.

 

Had no idea this was the last season. I saw it was up on Netflix but haven't had time to watch it yet.

This series was such a mess. It was the worst of Korra with filler seasons.

Write the ending first, then the rest of the story. That works most of the time.

 

Well, yeah, kinda agree with the overall consensus. This final season was a mess. I did enjoy all other seasons, but it just seemed like they had no idea how to wrap it up. Where was it said that Allura was black? I must've missed it, but I also thought of her skin color as alien skin color and never gave it much thought. Is this some JK Rowling-esque retrofitting?
